Nelson, the Heritage capital of British Columbia is nestled in between the beautiful Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges along the shores of Kootenay lake.

This charming Arts and Crafts home built in 1926 was extensively refurbished 75 years later, earning Nelson's "Heritage Building of the Year" award for 2001. Mistiso (Miss-tee-so) - Spanish word for hybrid, a blend of two diverse cultures or traditions.

In it's lifetime, this house has seen Nelson go through a number of transformations culminating into the melting pot that it is today. Mistiso's Place is a reflection of this, with the fusion of old and new, traditional yet funky, elegant but casual.

We have a stunning collection of tastefully finished, warm and inviting self-contained suites, ranging from 1-3 bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people.
