Nelson, the Heritage capital of British Columbia is nestled in between the beautiful Selkirk and Purcell mountain ranges along the shores of Kootenay lake.

This charming Arts and Crafts home built in 1926 was extensively refurbished 75 years later, earning Nelson's "Heritage Building of the Year" award for 2001. Mistiso (Miss-tee-so) - Spanish word for hybrid, a blend of two diverse cultures or traditions.

In it's lifetime, this house has seen Nelson go through a number of transformations culminating into the melting pot that it is today. Mistiso's Place is a reflection of this, with the fusion of old and new, traditional yet funky, elegant but casual.

We have a stunning collection of tastefully finished, warm and inviting self-contained suites, ranging from 1-3 bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 12 people.
Each guest suite is eclectically furnished with living/dining room, kitchen and 4 piece bath and offers its own special charm and character that will make you feel right at home.

Rates and Policies:

Rates start at $89 CDN per night plus 5% gst

Ask about our weekly, monthly rates, and specials

Advanced bookings highly recommended

For extended stays, house-keeping services can be provided on request for a nominal fee

50% deposit is required upon booking

The balance of your payment would be appreciated 1 week in advance or upon your arrival.

Bridgewater Vacation Home requires a $250 damage deposit at the time of booking.

Check in after 3:00 PM ---- Check out: 11:00 AM

Minimum of 3 nights

Cancellation Policy:

When 14 or more days notice is given, your deposit will be refunded, less a $30 cancellation fee. When less than 14 days notice is given, the entire deposit will be forfeited unless we're able to re-rent the entire suite. We will happily refund the deposit less the $30 cancellation fee.

Sorry…No refunds for early departures. Rain checks will be gladly issued in case of inclement weather.
