We had a wonderful stay at Mististo’s Place in the Silverking suite. The suite had everything we needed to cook our meals and was also very conveniently located a block away from the Kootenay Co-op (a great organic grocery store) and down the street from tons of restaurants.
The suite is really nicely decorated and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the ceiling fans kept the suite cool even on really warm days. A gas grill and tables are available for dining outside.
An easy 15-20 minute walk down to Lakeside park & beach where you can rent SUPs and kayaks for 3hrs for only $9 (from the Nelson & District Community Complex).
It’s a short hike up to Gyro Park with gorgeous views of the lake and the city.
Maria was a wonderful hostess and she made us feel very welcome. We’ll definitely be returning!
