Kokanee Suite

This is such a great spot and everything in town is easily accessible on foot and great to have a parking spot downtown too. The kitchen isn't very well set up for cooking, more lightly prepared breakfasts, but otherwise it is such a great space and I loved the feel of being right downtown yet nestled among the trees. Maria was such a friendly and welcoming host, I'd definitely recommend staying here.

My fiance and I had a great stay at Maria's apartment. Spacious and yet cozy place. The kitchen was clean and well supplied with all the things we needed. The highlight for us was the claw foot tub with star gazing. Thanks again, Maria!

My brother and I were passing through on a motorcycle trip and stayed one night at Maria’s place.
It’s a little tricky to find as I couldn’t read my check-in email while riding, but it is explained well in the email.
The place is really clean and well kept and has that Nelson charm.
It’s perfectly located if you want to be able to easily walk to the shops and restaurants.

The Kokanee suite was lovely and everything that was promised. The decor was very tasteful and the amenities were most welcoming. The location is wonderful and makes Downtown Nelson totally walkable. Maria was most helpful and communications were proactive, helpful and clear. My husband and I greatly enjoyed our stay and would hope to do so the next time we are in Nelson.

Maria was a great host! We had the best time walking to the shops and restaurants near by but also had a quiet night in because the water view made for very pleasant place to relax and unwind.

Loved this place. The suite was even better in person than the photos! Do close to downtown that we could walk to all the resteraunts. We would definately stay again.

Adorable space with lots of style! Cutely decorated with lots of color and everything you might need. Kitchen has a hot plate, microwave, kettle and a toaster oven. Best suited for a couple for privacy but had access to an adjoining room for my sister in law. Stairs to get up to the top bit has an amazing view from the small deck or from all windows in the place. Great location - easy to walk downtown or anywhere in Nelson. Parking at back- tricky to get down hilly roads but very quaint. Maria was amazing! She was communicative and helpful whenever we needed her. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Maria's place was great. We loved the patio overlooking the lake, watching birds, planes and boats go by. The wall AC was put to great use when the temp soared to 30+ C. Walking distance to lake, free trolly, Gyro park trail, restaurants. We cooked inside and used BBQ. Hot plate only, no stove. Thank you kindly Maria for the bubbles, our 4 year old was entertained for hours with them!

Maria’s Kokanee suite was wonderful! The neighbourhood was quiet, location was convenient for walking to most places. It’s a bit tricky to find so be sure to follow her directions exactly. Maria responded quickly to any questions we had. She provided a helpful guide to the suite and the area. The bed was comfy, the kitchen was well stocked with essentials and there were even bath salts for use in the gorgeous tub. Because the suite is in the attic space of an older home, the ceilings are sloped at the sides. It did get quite warm but there are fans and an air conditioner. We would definitely stay again.

This is Quite simply a hidden gem in Nelson !! .Loved my stay here and Maria is such a sweetheart. Would 100% recommend

Great place to stay in Nelson … loved it!

We really enjoyed staying at Maria's Airbnb. We were driving toward home in Langley Townships after a 2-week road trip in the US. It was a great stop - all around. We recommend it! We also really appreciated that Maria mentioned the salmon spawning at the Kokanee Provincial Park, only 20 minutes from Nelson. Thanks to her suggestion, we did go and had such a great time observing the Kokanee spawn!

Wonderful little place for a stay in downtown Nelson. Very relaxing ambience and the tub was perfect to indulge in a soak. Maria was wonderful to communicate with and was very prompt and polite in her responses. 100% would suggest this great spot!

Maria's place consist of 4 or 5 units on 3 levels. the one assigned to us was on the 3rd level access by an outside staircase which would a challenge for anyone with mobility issues. however, the place clean, colourful, and provided all the necessary things needed for confy home stay.
We found the air stuffy and left door open to ventilate. The sound of the AC unit was a bit
loud, but all in all was good experience. Thank you.

This was our second stay at Maria's place. Needless to say, we love it!
