Fantastic location and close to downtown, restaurants and shopping. The suite had a Nelson vibe- full of character and charm. Maria was an excellent host. Very responsive and touched base regularly with recommendations and just to make sure everything was okay.

Staying at Maria's place was everywhere would have hoped. It was only a few blocks from the heart of downtown & the river, yet it was so private and cozy. Plenty of room for myself and 2 friends. Inside the house were perfect pairings of antiques and artful touches.
I'm so glad we stayed there and will choose it 100% of the time when I come to Nelson again.

I stayed at this Airbnb and found it to be very nice, clean, and cozy. The space was well-maintained and inviting, making it a comfortable stay. One thing to note is that the walls are a bit thin and there is a shared door to the other unit, so you can hear the neighbors, they were a bit noisy Overall, it was a pleasant experience.

Location was great, place was spacious and great. Exactly as expected. I recommend!

Great place located easy walking distance to restaurants.

An absolutely little wonderful getaway! My brother and our partners were visiting together and decided to call Maria's place home for the night! She was quick to inform us of live music down the block at the pub along with a town goods market happening the same week.
We had an absolute blast here and made amazing memories! Thank you for a wonderful time!

Comfortable, well-equipped two bedroom suite. Delicious coffee and comfortable beds. Nice spaces. Great communication. The suite is a walkout basement with access/parking off an alley.

Great jewel, centrally located in Nelson. Easy to park and nicely decorated.

It was an amazing place to stay. Close to downtown but without the noise of downtown. Four adults stayed there comfortably. Would recommend this to anyone!!!!

Lovely place, great location. Very good for my father who is in a wheelchair. Great access without stairs and ramp to outside area made staying a dream. Thank you, Maria and we hope to see you again very soon!

This is my second time staying in Maria’s lovely space. I can’t recommend it enough. Great location, with easy access to all of Nelson’s shops and restaurants. Maria is an amazing host. Super welcoming and full of helpful suggestions. This will always be my first choice when I come to Nelson.

The apartment is beautiful, welcoming, and comfortable. A wonderful base camp for exploring Nelson and the surrounding area.

Maria's place was a very nice stay in Nelson. Walk to all the downtown amenities, and still a quite place to stay. Kitchen only had 1 pan when we arrived but Maria was very responsive and was able to drop off an additional pan, which was very helpful. Thanks for a great stay in Nelson

Our trip was impacted by air travel issues and Maria was super accommodating to help us find something that worked for both of us. It was very refreshing. She is a wonderful host and would recommend to anyone!

The locations is awesome right in the middle of town. We stayed in SilverKing suit and I can’t rave on about it enough. The bed was so comfortable, the bedroom had space for clothing, there was soap, dishes pots pan coffee machine there was even coffee !!! Would recommend over a hotel anyday! Thank you so much for having us!!

We had the opportunity to visit Mistiso's Place Bunkie Land and we had a great experience and loved the location. If you're looking for a fun tiny home to vacation or staycation at, look no further. Maria is a wonderful host and the property is lovely. Everything is clean and brand new. Highly recommend.

Great place! This place is in a perfect location. Within walking distance to downtown shopping and restaurants. It has a full kitchen including coffee beans so no need to hunt for a coffee shop in the morning. Loved our stay here and will be back.

Maria’s place is fabulous. I was travelling with a friend and it was spacious, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our trip. The location couldn’t be better. Shops, restaurants and Kootenay River are all within an easy walk.

Maria was especially helpful in finding us additional accommodations when our plans changed last minute and provided us with lots of great suggestions for hikes, beaches and things to do. We will definitely be back!

Incredibly beautiful apartment and best value for the accommodations of any Airbnb I’ve stayed in. Bed was comfortable, wifi was great. Walked everywhere around downtown Nelson we wanted to go and only took our car out for longer jaunt.
The only thing to mention that was less than great was the ability to hear the neighbors / tv next door through the connecting door - I only mention for those that might be looking for a silent bubble - it didn’t really bother us at all and we couldn’t hear if from the bedroom.
Would love to come stay again - just a lovely spot.

Really nice spot to stay, and Maria was great. Had a microwave issue the first night and she responded so fast a took care of us. Also great video on how to access the rear parking lot.

Maria's Funky Bunky was lovely! It had everything we needed - the kitchen was well stocked, the bunky and the washroom were beautifully decorated, and Maria was always very responsive. The wifi worked well and we will certainly be back. This definitely felt like camping, so if you are not prepared to share a kitchen/washroom with other guests, and climb quite a steep ladder to the bed, this might not be the space for you. But if you love the outdoors, camp frequently and looking for something different, this will be perfect!

Mistiso's place is a MUST. This home has so much character and is walking distance to everything we wanted to see! We were able to walk to the farmers market, every dinner/lunch spot, the museum and even a super fun dance spot. The building is very secure and with the front garden feels like you step into a little oasis from the sidewalk. Mistiso's place was extremely clean and comfortable.

I loved my stay at Mistiso's place. The accommodation was perfect. The spacious rooms and the beds so comfortable.
The kitchen is very well equipped. The dining room could accommodate 8 people which allowed me to invite my children who live in Nelson. Maria was available and the exchanges with her were very cordial.
I would definitely go back there.

My friends and myself had a great time in Nelson thanks to Mistiso's place. It's such a beautiful apartment with everything you need in it. Well decorated and really comfortable and cozy. It was a perfect getaway so close to downtown.
We really enjoyed our stay at Mistiso's and just loved that place. Maria is a wonderful host. We won't forget her kindness and warmth and will keep our trip to Nelson in good memories. Thanks for the amazing hospitality!!! Definitely would recommend staying at Mistiso's!
